SKOLKOVO Startup Academy-4 Launched
OREANDA-NEWS. 33 authors of unique startup ideas from Moscow, Irkutsk, Belarus, Armenia and Hong Kong will study in the new class. One third of the class is built by females thinking of their own businesses, and two thirds of the group are young entrepreneurs aged 30 or less. Alexander Adushkin, who won a scholarship from International Paper, and Artem Burnatov, winner of another scholarship from the graduates of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO Sergey Koltovich and Evgenia Sabadyshina, are also in the class.
The programme lasts for 10 weeks and includes eight modules and a two-week trip to Silicon Valley where they will examine the fundamentals of the most successful entrepreneurial ecosystem of the world. The students are going to study how to create and develop businesses and attract investors and work actively on their projects using knowledge and experience that they will gain at the SKOLKOVO business school.
The first module of the fourth class of the SKOLKOVO Startup Academy, which is dedicated to the business model creation and customer behavior, will take place on October 29 - November 3. The students will attend “Dialogues in the dark” training, lectures with business guru Bob Dorf and coaching sessions.
We are glad to welcome the SKOLKOVO Startup Academy-4 students on the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO Campus, would like to wish them to set ambitious goals and achieve them with readiness and success and maintain the programme's traditions: the graduates of three classes of the SKOLKOVO Startup Academy have already attracted USD 4 mln of investments and created 140 jobsites, with a total estimated cost of their startups reaching USD 30 mln.
