The explanation session of investment and project signing ceremony of Chengdu, which is one of the important activities for the 14th China Western International Fair (WCIF), was held in the international conference center of the Century City of Chengdu. Ge Honglin, the mayor of Chengdu, attended the meeting and delivered the speech. Huang Dan, the vice president of MCC attended the meeting and signed the agreement with the Chengdu government on behalf of MCC Group.

This meeting witnessed the contracts of 18 official investment projects signed between the Chengdu government and China North Industries Group, China Railway Engineering Corporation, China Poly Group Corporation, SMBC Consumer Finance Company of Japan, etc. The total contract amount reached RMB53.122 billion. Among these agreements is the framework agreement on investment cooperation signed by the Chengdu government with MCC Group, which involves the construction projects of the MCC HQ in the western region , the scientific research base of MCC in Tianfu New District as well as the municipal infrastructure, etc.  

Zhao Zhishun, the chair of BOD of MCC Communication Engineering Technology Co., Ltd, Cheng Bingqiang, the chairman of BOD of China MCC5 Group Corp. Ltd., Tian Ye, the chairman of BOD of China MCC19 Group Corp. Ltd., Li Jian, the head of the domestic market development division of MCC, Zhu Yongfan, the vice general manager of China MCC5 Group Corp. Ltd., and the leaders of Central Research Institute of Building and Construction, MCC Group, Co., Ltd, some top 500 companies in the world as well as business associations attended the signing ceremony.

WCIF, founded in 2000, is co-organized by over 10 national ministries, such as the NDRC, the Commerce Department, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, etc, and the governments of 12 provinces (municipality and autonomous regions) as well as Xinjiang Production and Construction Group. Till now, 13 sessions of WCIF have been successfully held. This session of WCIF, which was titled “build a new pattern for regional cooperation and stimulate the new development vitality of the west region ”, attracts over 4000 enterprises from 28 provinces (municipality and autonomous regions) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Group in China and 72 foreign countries and regions in its main exhibition venue. During this session of WCIF, a series of activities will be held, such as the Sixth International Cooperation Forum for West China, the Seventh Investment Explanation Session for West China and the signing ceremony of economic cooperation projects, the Sixth International Purchasing Agent Assembly of West China, etc.
