Severstal to Supply Rolled Steel for Nissan Almera Model
OREANDA-NEWS. The Cherepovets Steel Mill, one of the world’s largest integrated steel mills (part of Severstal’s Russian Steel Division), entered into another agreement to supply rolled steel for the production of Nissan Almera model. First deliveries were launched in Q4 2012.
Nissan Almera cars are produced in Togliatti, Russia’s Samara region, on the BO production line, built in the cooperation framework of Renault-Nissan and AvtoVAZ Alliance.
Cold rolled steel produced by OAO Severstal will be used in the production of internal and face parts of Nissan Almera cars.
Deliveries of rolled steel under this agreement were launched in July 2013 and will last until March 2014.
