Sberbank of Russia and UTair Aviation have completed a project providing online payment services and support for the purchase of goods and services on the airline's official website, www.utair.ru. Sberbank ensures secure online payments through credit and debit cards via international payment systems, including Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, and MasterCard Electronic cards.

“This is one of Sberbank's largest projects for non-cash payment support over the Internet as well as an important stage in expanding our cooperation with UTair, our strategic partner for many years already,” said President of West-Siberian Bank of Sberbank Alexander Anashchenko. “We are delighted to provide UTair passengers with the convenience of being able to book tickets online around the clock from anywhere in the world. Payments are processed in just a few minutes and advanced security systems used by Sberbank guarantee a high level of security for online payments.”

The new joint project with one of Russia's largest banks allows UTair to expand its online ticket booking services more actively, guaranteeing passengers a high level of security online for such transactions. Moreover, the range of cards accepted online has been expanded.

The online connection with the payment gateway and all information transactions are secured with SSL encryption and 3-D Secure authentication protocols.
