Frankfurt Airport Introduces Shoppers for Russian-Speaking Passengers
OREANDA-NEWS. Frankfurt Airport recently broadened its shopping services by introducing two Personal Shoppers to look after Russian-speaking passengers. Daily between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., they provide assistance and advice to visitors from Eastern Europe for shopping and obtaining VAT refunds, and on request also escort them through the security check to their gates.
The Russian Personal Shoppers speak fluent Russian and are familiar with the culture and preferences of Russian passengers. Experience has shown that these visitors particularly love perfumes, French red wine, and international brand-name products. They gladly accept the advice provided by the Personal Shoppers.
The Russian Personal Shoppers are part of the "Great to have you here!" service program that Frankfurt Airport launched to introduce a wide range of improvements that make it easier and more convenient to depart from and transfer at Germany's largest aviation hub. In 2012, Frankfurt Airport welcomed more than 57 million passengers.
