In order to extract groundwater for industrial purposes and for fire safety Azov Basin Branch in due course obtained the license for the use of subsurface resources dated 02.09.2013 № RST 02975 VE issued by the Department of Mineral Resources in the Southern Federal District, valid until September 1, 2033.

In accordance with the terms of the license Azov Basin Branch received the right to use subsurface resources of the Beglitsky 1 plot for the extraction of groundwater from the aquifer sediments of Miocene Sarmatian (N1sr) to supply water to the branch. The plot is located on the eastern edge of the Beglitsa village Neklinovsky district of Rostov region, where an active water intake - well No. 1-RE is located.

This plot is the second subsurface resources area used by Azov Basin Branch. In February 2012, the branch received a similar license, providing the right to mine groundwater at the Yuzhnotaganrogsky 3 area located in Taganrog, Rostov region, for process water supply to the branch departments.
