Novosibirsk Airport Participated in World Routes 2013 in Las Vegas
OREANDA-NEWS. The delegation of Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport took part in the 19th World Route Development Forum World Routes 2013, held from 5th to 8th October in Las Vegas (USA).
The airport representatives conducted a series of meetings and negotiations with various airline companies. Besides, several passenger air carriers of China, South East Asia and Middle East expressed their interest in cooperation with Novosibirsk airport. In particular, the possibility of launching flights to Novosibirsk is being considered by Air China,Jet Asia Airways (Thailand), Vietnam Airlines and Fly Dubai. Furthermore, Air Moldova and Finnair (Finland) share similar views on objectively strong potential of operations to Novosibirsk airport from European capitals. Another partner of the airport Turkish Airlines informed of their intention to increase flight frequencies on Novosibirsk - Istanbul route.
Several national air carriers, including the base airline company of Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport S7 Airlines, reported on their plans to improve capacity of flights from Novosibirsk. ROSSIYA Airlines highlighted the prospects of flight frequency increase on Novosibirsk - Saint Petersburg route as well as to provide more suitable flight connections.
Within the framework of World Routes 2013 the Novosibirsk delegates also negotiated with freight air carriers: concerning future plans to increase flight frequencies on Amsterdam - Novosibirsk route, as stated by AirBridgeCargo, as well as Ruslan International expressed their strong interest in partnership with the airport.
An important outcome of the forum were Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport's discussions on prospects for further cooperation with the airports of Hannover, Cologne, Paris, Riga, Singapore, Kiev, Minsk, Kharkiv, Shenzhen, Bangalore and others.
