OREANDA-NEWS. Starting from 28 December 2013 Transaero Airlines will launch new scheduled services between Moscow and Havana.

The UN595/596 flight will be operated once weekly from Moscow Domodedovo airport according to the following schedule (all times local):

Departure from Moscow on Saturdays at 13.25, arriving in Havana at 17.05. Departure from Havana at 19.05, arriving in Moscow on Sundays at 18.20.

Transaero will operate Boeing 767-300 aircraft configured with Business and Economy classes. Moreover, Transaero will offer tickets at Tourist class fares on this route: the tariff will include 20 kg of luggage allowance and economy standard of service.

Transaero has an extensive experience of flights to Cuba: the airline started services from Moscow to Varadero in 2005. Transaero has carried over 200,000 passengers between Russia and Cuba since that time. Passenger traffic on the Moscow-Varadero route has tripled over the period from 2010 to 2012.

The new scheduled services of Transaero Airlines to Havana will contribute to further strengthening of air links between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Cuba.
