LSC Announced New Chairman of Supervisory Council
OREANDA-NEWS. From now on the duties of Chairman of the Supervisory Council of JSC Latvian Shipping Company (hereafter - LSC) will be carried out by Robert Kirkup. The previous Chairman of the LSC Supervisory Council Vladimir Egger will continue working in the Supervisory Council as a member, while Mikhail Dvorak remains in the position of Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Council.
The LSC Supervisory Council works in composition of 12 members and was elected on October1 7, 2013 for a period of five years.
The newly elected representatives in the Supervisory Council are Robert Kirkup, Kristo Oidermaa (experience descriptions published in website of the Stock Exchange) and Arturs Lemanis.
The newly elected Supervisory Council member Arturs Lemanis joined the company Elura Shipping as a partner in 2009. The company is engaged in commercial operations of chartered product tankers and acts as tanker/LPG broker. Prior to joining Elura Shipping, Lemanis spent almost 12 years working for LSC as operator, demurrage analyst, charterer of CPP and DPP tonnage, as well as was involved in other projects. He has seagoing experience - before joining LSC he was a safety officer on board an LPG carrier. Arturs Lemanis does not own shares of JSC Latvian Shipping Company.
