OREANDA-NEWS. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Azerbaijan Vinod Kumar and the embassy’s First Secretary T.R. Mina visited Baku Higher Oil School. Welcoming the guests, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov informed them about the oil strategy successfully developed under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, SOCAR’s projects implemented in the country and abroad.

He said Baku Higher Oil School is an education center within SOCAR, which has education programs based on European education standards. The higher school has close relations with Heriot-Watt University of the United Kingdom, which will enable it to give two diplomas to its graduates.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Azerbaijan Vinod Kumar thanked for inviting him to Baku Higher Oil School. He spoke about the historic relations between the two countries and emphasized continuous development of cooperation in the spheres of trade, economy, sciences and technology. Highly appreciating the school’s activity, Ambassador Vinod Kumar expressed their willingness to support cooperation between Baku Higher Oil School and the universities of India, exchange of students and professors and scientific.
