OREANDA-NEWS. At the end of September about 20 companies of Perm Krai and chemical faculty of Perm State University signed an Agreement of Partnership. Thus an Association of Employers of the faculty was created.

Providing regional companies with suitable professionals and giving a good career start to the faculty's graduates are the main goals of the Association. There are big chemical companies in the association, namely JSC Metafrax, JSC Sorbent, State Inspection on Environment Protection, LLC Kraski Chemi and others.

Under the agreement the faculty is going to provide special training for its students based on the companies' needs and also create an environment for training of working specialists. In turn, the companies will provide employment for graduates, workplaces for summer practice, and subjects for science projects.

- Today Metafrax employs a lot more graduates of technical faculties. More than 90% of them graduated from Perm State Polytechnical University. This is connected with the company's primary activity, chemical production. At the same time we have a goal to develop science and technologies. Graduates of Perm State University are very rare, but they are the ones developing science, for example adapting European technologies for use in our country. They are also responsible for Quality Assurance. The agreement with Perm State University is another step towards building a strong HR policy. Also, it is a great example of company and State partnership.
