SOCAR to Supply Georgian Religious Organizations with Natural Gas
OREANDA-NEWS. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev met with the Catalikos-Patriarch of Georgia Iliya II. During the meeting, the sides signed a memorandum.
Under the memorandum, SOCAR will supply all religious organizations in Georgia with free gas within one year. The provision of the natural gas will be started on November 1, 2013. It was mentioned that the request was made by the Georgian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. The ceremony of Memo signing was attended by Georgian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Kakhi Kaladze.
