OREANDA-NEWS. Armada Center, a member of Armada OAO (MICEX-RTS: ARMD), announces the victory in the tender of the Moscow Public Institution Transportation Provider. Armada specialists will develop and deliver the devices with integrated software, which allow the customer to control in an automated mode the payment by passengers for the transportation services in above-ground city transport and in the underground.

The system of contactless travel documents was introduced in the Moscow public city transport as a part of implementation of the state program "Development of the Transportation System for 2012-2016". In order to ensure full and quality inspection of these documents it is planned to provide inspectors with portable inspection tools, which allow to determine the type of the travel document, the time and the date of the last use thereof, the number of passes made through the validator and other data.

"Personal devices shall significantly accelerate the process of tickets inspection and optimize the work of inspectors. The development of this type of devices offers additional opportunities for detection of fake tickets, collection of statistical data for the passenger traffic and also, if necessary, for the sale of tickets (operation in the conductor mode), which in its turn will contribute to the increase of the quality of service in the city transport," said Roman Kruglyakov, General Director of Armada OAO.
