OREANDA-NEWS. Helios IT, a member of Armada OAO (MICEX-RTS: ARMD), became the second in IT-management rating published by CNews.

Rating has used CNews Target model for determining the actual positioning among players on the market of IT management. The main parameters for comparison included the range of covering of tasks in the sphere of IT management, industry and geographical coverage, specialization, satisfaction of customers' needs.

The Russian market of solutions and services in the sphere of IT management formed by local service providers (integrators, niche companies) was analyzed. The corresponding companies included: I-Teco, IT Expert, Croc, Asteros, ВСС, IBS, Helios IT, I.T.Co., Naumen, LANIT, Inline Group, Technoserv, AMT Group, Jet Infosystems, etc. Foreign vendors of specialized software were not considered for the purpose of formation of the final target.

In accordance with the method, the center of the target is occupied by an "ideal company", i.e. a specialized supplier with the greatest expertise, experience of successful projects (which success is confirmed by the customers) and sufficient resources.
