OREANDA-NEWS. A series of events “Business catalyst of Kaluga region” are to take place in October in Kaluga. The organizers of the project are the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, RVC and Agency of Innovative Development - Centre of Cluster Development of Kaluga region.

The Business catalyst of Kaluga region is a unique programme of events that is directed at improving quality of the region's innovative projects and preparing project teams for communication with potential investors.

It is being implemented in several stages. Teams submit their entries that include their projects' description by October 31, 2013. All projects will be examined by experts from November 1 to 6, 2013. Then the participants will develop the projects with experts and mentors that are going to help them to make presentations for potential investors and partners. They will be able to attend interesting training and workshops from various leading institutes of innovative development of the Russian Federation.

The practical consulting sessions Seed Forum will be staged in Obninsk on November 29-30 for qualified projects where they will be closely examined in order to prepare for the presentation at the final event DEMO-DAY in Moscow.

A business catalyst's goal is to create new startups and increase the level of current projects, help project teams to find investors, partners, mentors, experts, get acquainted with support tools of institutes of innovative development.
