OREANDA-NEWS. The Government of Ukraine will consider the draft order, which gives the start of oil and gas production in the Black Sea shelf plate with the participation of leading international energy companies: Eni (Italy), Electricite de France (France). This was started by Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov in his opening remarks at the meeting of the Government on October 17, 2013.

The Prime Minister informed that in the framework of the investment project of up to USD 4 billion by the end of this decade it is expected to increase annual oil and gas production by 2-3 million tons of fuel.

It will also be created thousands of jobs. Additional government revenues during the life of the project will amount to UAH 160 billion ie around UAH 4 billion per year.
