OREANDA-NEWS. The President examined the reconstruction of Vuhlehirsk thermal power plant of PJSC “Centrenerho” where on March 29, 2013, the accident happened due to the depressurization of the supply of coal dust and its inflammation.

Director of the enterprise Serhiy Tarutin told about the progress of reconstruction to the President.

Shift engineer Andriy Kryvulia informed the President that on October 8, 2013, the energy block №1 with capacity of 300 MW had been connected to the electricity network. He also added that the second, the third and the fourth blocks were under repair. The fourth block will be launched on December 1, 2013; the second and the third blocks - on March 1, 2014.

On behalf of the personnel, A. Kryvulia expressed gratitude to the President for the assistance in the restoration of the thermal power plant.

In his turn, the Head of State expressed gratitude to the personnel of the plant for the work on reconstruction, belief in their forces, unity and confidence. “I would like you to be always enthusiastic. Low bow and gratitude to the whole staff,” the President said.

“Little time has passed since the accident. Since the first minute we have been confident that we will restore the plant, fulfill all the necessary repair works and conduct certain modernization,” Viktor Yanukovych noted.
