OREANDA-NEWS. On October 11-12 Lenexpo Exhibition Complex in St.Petersburg was a venue for the largest trade fair of travel services in the North-West of Russia INWETEX - CIS TRAVEL MARKET. The exhibition is supported by Saint-Petersburg Committee on Tourism Development, Leningrad Region Administration, Committee for Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Russian Union of Travel Industry, North-West Division Office

The exhibition gathered more than companies from all over the world and 21 Russian regions. While the exhibition was open it was attended by about 7000 visitors, mostly professionals in the sphere of tourism.

Travel companies and hotel enterprises of the republic have taken part in the exhibition with the six-square-meter uniform stand. The use of this area was granted free of charge. As travel companies observed, the visitors were mostly interested in New-Year programs, health resort treatment, and children's recreation.

The International Cultural and Tourism Forum was also held in St.Petersburg on October 11-12 within the scope of the exhibition, and representatives from Karelia have also taken part in it.
