OREANDA-NEWS. The SKOLKOVO Entrepreneurial community has become a partner of the startups acceleration programme Generation S that was organized by RVC and the Centre of Innovation Development of Moscow with support of the Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship Department of Moscow. 70 projects that reached semi-finals of the BIT competition participate in the programme, they were selected from 1500 entries from 80 cities of Russian and near abroad. The programme's agenda includes various educational sessions and lectures of successful entrepreneurs and investors.

Experts of the SKOLKOVO Entrepreneurial community, representatives of the Mentors Association and Investor Club of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO take an active part in the initiative.

On October 11 Valentin Zavadnikov, vice-president of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, will present a lecture for the programme participants and answer their questions as a guest speaker, and Yulia Rakova, participant of the SKOLKOVO Entrepreneurial community, will present a speech about team building.

On October 12 the representatives of the SKOLKOVO Mentors Association will work with projects in speed dating format when every participant will be able to continue working with mentors in small groups.

On October 17 and 18 during an investment session 15 winners that will be selected after the end of the programme are going to present their projects in front of important Russian and foreign investors, including the SKOLKOVO Entrepreneurial community's experts. After the session, the finalists will be selected and they will continue competing for the main prize.

Generation S is an intense two-week startups acceleration programme in the framework of the Business of Innovation Technologies (BIT) competition that teaches them how to do business and work with investors and mentors. The acceleration programme started in Russia in September 2013. It gives young entrepreneurs a chance to feel that they are part of new startup generation that unites like-minded persons that are ready to create an innovative future.
