OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2013. Almost 40 mln tons of grain have been threshed in Ukraine. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov announced at a Government’s session

“We have wheat over 22 million tons, barley – 7.5 million tons, rye – 665 thousand tons. Overall there have been threshed almost 40 million tons of grain which is by 15% more than last year,” the Head of Government informed and underlined that successful completion of harvesting early grain crops had ensured in full amount the domestic needs in food grain.
