OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2013. President Vladimir Putin addressed Asia-Pacific business leaders during the APEC CEO summit in Bali, Indonesia.

The Russian President’s address, entitled “Taking another look at the Asia Pacific: Where are the new opportunities for growth?” was followed by a discussion moderated by VTB President and Chairman of the Management Board Andrey Kostin.

This year’s CEO Summit was titled Towards Resilience and Growth: Reshaping Priorities for Global Economy. The event focused on joint initiatives to facilitate faster growth in the APEC economies. Participants discussed the key challenges facing the region and potential cooperation on measures designed to overcome economic issues.

The APEC Business Advisory Council met ahead of the CEO Summit. Russia is represented on the ABAC by VTB President and Chairman of the Management Board Andrey Kostin, Rusal CEO Oleg Deripaska and Russian Direct Investment Fund CEO Kirill Dmitriev.
