Reforms undertaken by the Logistics Department of JSC TATNEFT in terms of improving transparency of procurement, formalizing of the principles of working with manufacturers and their involvement at the electronic trading platform have been worthily appreciated by the professional Russian community. The use of new policies and strategies in the procurement process has allowed the Company becoming a winner in the nomination of the prestigious national Prize "Competitive procurement leader - 2013". The main criterion for applicants in this category has been the level of the competitive environment transparency in the procurement.

The awarding of the winners of the "Competitive procurement leader - 2013" Prize was held in the framework of the second annual conference on "Corporate Procurement", which took place in Moscow with the participation of leading companies from various industries in Russia and the CIS countries, as well as representatives of regulatory and government agencies. The participants and guests of the conference discussed strategic issues of procurement activities of enterprises, methods to improve the supply system maturity, effective ways of building up of the procurement process, the latest trends and news of the legislative sphere and instruments of minimizing the risks of purchasing procedures.

All in all more than 70 papers had been submitted for the Prize.
