OREANDA-NEWS. October 09, 2013. Signing the Agreement  on Association and free trade area between Ukraine and the European Union will create additional opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and the Customs Union. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov announced in Minsk during a joint media conference with Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich.

“Signing the Association Agreement with the EU won’t definitely end the stage of cooperation with Belarus, with the Customs Union but on the contrary, in our common view, there will appear additional opportunities and incentives for the development of our partnership,” Mykola Azarov stressed.  

In whole the Prime Minister of Ukraine has evaluated constructively today’s negotiations with top officials of the Republic of Belarus.

The Head of Ukrainian Government informed that within nearest time expert groups would study problems that could emerge after signing the Association Agreement. “We have agreed that just in the near future our expert groups will study the possible problems which can emerge but, first of all, they will focus their attention on how to solve these problems and how to use this circumstance to ensure overall development of our relations,” Mykola Azarov emphasized.
