OREANDA-NEWS. October 09, 2013. A Roadmap for development of industrial cooperation for 2014-2015 has been signed In the presence of the Prime Ministers of Belarus and Ukraine Mykola Azarov and Mikhail Myasnikovich in Minsk.

"We’ve signed a number of bilateral documents, among them I’d like to highlight the Roadmap for development of industrial cooperation for 2014-2015; it is an extremely important document which very specifically prescribes core objectives and timing of the projects that we have agreed to implement together," Mykola Azarov emphasized.

Mykola Azarov generally praised the bilateral negotiations. He said that they were fruitful and constructive.

"I’m deeply convinced that our cooperation has good prospects and good possibilities. We went out on a significant amount of trade, and I think we’ll increase it next year," Mykola Azarov stressed.

Furthermore, a number of bilateral Ukrainian-Belarusian documents were signed in the presence of heads of governments: an Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in the field of quarantine and plant protection, an Interagency Agreement in the field of training of specialists for nuclear power, a Roadmap of bilateral cooperation for 2013-2015, the Interagency cooperation program in the field of physical education and sport for 2014-2015, an Interagency Protocol on cooperation in the field of customs statistics of bilateral trade, an Interdepartmental protocol on termination of international agreements on customs regulation.

In turn, Prime Minister of Belarus noted that new support schemes of industrialists to boost increasing of bilateral trade. "We have a mutual understanding that we need new schemes to support our manufacturers: due to financial instruments, through the work of leasing companies. And I think that the work under new projects, new points of growth and they are mainly concerned with issues of research and innovative development should be a priority," Mikhail Myasnikovich said.
