OREANDA-NEWS. October 09, 2013. Please be informed that from November the 1st 2013 Swedbank AS changes the securities account opening fee for private clients: securities account opening will be free of charge in the internet bank.

This change will enable our clients to enter securities markets with more favourable conditions. We find important to simplify and ease the access to services supporting our clients saving and investment activity.
 
We constantly monitor our clients’ changing financial needs and continuously innovate and improve our services according to clients’ expectations. Five years ago when Swedbank introduced new private client internet bank combining for the first time in the world the characteristics of bank’s homepage and internet bank, the number of concluded agreements and consumed services in electronic channels started to increase.
 
As a result the process of making financial decisions has become easier for clients – for example it is possible to conclude different agreements, order bank cards in the internet bank. Internet bank includes also new interactive consulting and financial planning solutions. Before this change clients needed to go to branch office for those services. Today clients conclude more than 99% of transactions using different electronic channels and this indicates that changes have been well approved and clients expect improvements in so called comfort services.
 
We wish to take same steps with our clients and therefore continue improving especially channels and services our clients prefer to use.
