OREANDA-NEWS. October 08, 2013. The Managing Director of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP Power) Mr. Paul Poon assumes office with effect from today, succeeding Mr. Richard Lancaster who takes up the post of Chief Executive Officer of the CLP Group.

Mr. Poon started his career with CLP Power in 1974 as a graduate trainee. After gaining experience with private company and Government, he rejoined CLP Power in 1981. Since then, he had held various management positions in different business units. He was the Chief Operating Officer before assuming his current position.

Mr. Chow Tang Fai, currently Director of Power Systems, will succeed Mr. Poon as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Chow first joined CLP Power in 1980. After working in the State Electricity Commission of Victoria in Australia in the late 80's and early 90's, he rejoined CLP Power in 1992. Since then, he had held various management positions in both the Power Systems and Marketing and Customer Services Business Groups.

Mr. Howard Ng, currently Deputy Director (East & West Region), will take up the post of Acting Director of Power Systems. Mr. Ng has been serving CLP Power for more than 40 years, and held various management positions in the Regions and Engineering Projects Department.
