Crude Oil Production

The amount of 2,148,784 tons of crude oil was produced at JSC TATNEFT in September accounting for 100.6 percent versus September, 2012 (+13,020 tons).

The amount of 19,518,329 tons of crude oil was produced during nine months, which was 62,258 tons more than during nine months of 2012 (100.3 percent) with the above-the-plan production in the amount of 519,809 tons (102.7 percent). The amount of 19,188,263 tons of oil was delivered with the above-the-plan delivery amounting to 557,943 tons.

New Drilling
The new drilling penetration for nine months of 2013 amounted to 430.9 thousand meters (491.7 thousand meters during nine months of 2012). Of this amount 340.1 thousand meters (365.1 thousand meters during nine months of 2012) were penetrated for JSC TATNEFT, including production drilling in the amount of 328.7 thousand meters and exploratory drilling amounting to 11.4 thousand meters.

24.8 thousand meters (41.9 thousand meters during nine months of 2012) were penetrated for the subsidiaries of JSC TATNEFT, including production drilling in the amount of 17.2 thousand meters and exploratory drilling in the amount of 7.6 thousand meters.

286 wells (296 wells during nine months of 2012) were constructed and delivered to the customers with 211 wells (210 wells during nine months of 2012) delivered to JSC TATNEFT, including 207 wells of production drilling and 4 wells of exploratory drilling.

20 wells were delivered to the subsidiaries of JSC TATNEFT (22 wells during nine months of 2012), including 13 wells of production drilling and 7 wells of exploratory drilling.

Active Well Stock Drilling

The penetration of sidetracking and horizontal wellbores during 9 months of 2013 amounted to 41.8 thousand meters (40.8 thousand meters during nine months of 2012). 20.2 thousand meters (20.9 thousand meters during nine months of 2012) were drilled for JSC TATNEFT.

90 wells (74 wells during nine months of 2012) were delivered to the customers. Of this amount 60 wells (48 wells during nine months of 2012) were delivered to JSC TATNEFT.

49 drilling crews were performing well drilling operations as of October 1, 2013 including 36 drilling crews engaged in traditional drilling operations and 12 crews were drilling lateral and lateral horizontal wellbores. One drilling crew performed drilling to the bituminous deposits of Ashalchinskoye field for NGDU “Nurlatneft”.

The penetration per crew in new drilling amounted to 12,111 m during nine months of 2013, while during nine months of 2012 the penetration per crew amounted to 12,794 m.

37.9 thousand meters were penetrated outside the Republic of Tatarstan.

Repair of Wells

In September 2013 remedial servicing operations were performed in 754 wells (784 wells in September of 2012) with a number of wells serviced during nine months amounting to 6,317 wells (6,358 wells during nine months of 2012).

71 wells were repaired outside the Republic of Tatarstan, including 68 wells for “Tatneft-Samara”, 2 wells for “Tatneft-Severny” and 1 well for JSC “Ilekneft” (40 wells were repaired during nine months of 2012 with 36 wells repaired for OOO "Tatneft-Samara” and 2 wells for JSC “Ilekneft”).

The workover operations were performed in 1,950 wells during nine months of the current year (220 wells in September) versus 1,861 wells for 9 months of 2012, including production string sealing performed in 218 wells, shutting-off individual layers and recompletion in other intervals were performed in 134 wells, transfer of wells into different categories and wells completion for injection in 149 wells, liquidation of downhole complications and cleaning of production casing and bottomhole in 115 wells, installation of isolating packers and dual completion systems in 130 wells, physical liquidation in 20 wells and re-liquidation in 12 wells.

475 wells were worked over with application of coil tubing (45 wells in September), including 75 wells worked over through the annulus.

Formation hydrofracking operations were performed in 458 wells (51 wells in September) (291 wells during nine months of 2012). The cumulative incremental crude oil production amounted to 7 million 078 thousand tons.

Workover crews drilled and completed 20 small diameter wells for JSC TATNEFT during nine months of 2013.

Works on oil recovery enhancement were performed in 1,840 wells (177 wells in September) with application of chemical methods in 877 wells (74 wells in September). The incremental crude oil production resulting from application of crude oil recovery enhancement methods amounted to 4 million 536 thousand tons with application of chemical methods accounting for 1 million 839 thousand tons.

Bottomhole area treatment operations with application of JSC TATNEFT’s technologies were performed in 2,594 wells during nine months of 2013.

Production Performance of the JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 710.8 thousand tons of crude oil and yielded 706.5 thousand tons of oil products in September, 2013.
