OREANDA-NEWS. October 08, 2013. SORAINEN Lithuania provided legal assistance to the US-based Virtustream, a world leader in cloud computing software and software-related services, in setting up a subsidiary in Lithuania.

The international company is expanding into Lithuania because of highly qualified local professionals: a research and technology development centre to be opened in Kaunas will employ 75 IT specialists from Lithuania. They will be developing solutions to enable businesses to move complex production applications to the cloud. Solutions produced in Kaunas will be used by key Virtustream clients around the world.

Liudas Ramanauskas, senior associate with SORAINEN, and associate Evaldas Dudonis advised the client on issues of corporate, employment and contract law, as well as on other aspects important for due launch of operations. In addition, SORAINEN advised the client on matters related to applying for investment incentives under the Invest LT+ measure.
