OREANDA-NEWS. Samsung is opening the doors to the brand’s first Danish flagship store - a pop-up shop in Copenhagen Airport. The exclusive store concept features Samsung’s latest products, including the ground-breaking Series 9 Ultra High Definition television, in a stylish fusion of Asian futurism and Scandinavian design tradition.

The Korean consumer electronics manufacturer Samsung is now opening its first flagship store on Danish soil. The new pop-up shop in Copenhagen Airport, located in the Nytorv area between Terminals 2 and 3, joins strong neighbours such as Eton, Marc by Marc Jacobs and the Danish high end bakery chain Lagkagehuset.

In the store, travellers will have the opportunity to touch and feel as well as buy the latest technology from Samsung. Travellers will find the newest in smartphones, tables, cameras, sound, TVs and laptops. Featured products include Samsung’s new Series 9 Ultra High Definition TVs, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear. Shoppers will also be able to purchase a wide range of covers and accessories.

An experience beyond the ordinary

The core idea underlying Samsung’s new store is to give travellers an experience beyond the ordinary. “We are proud to open the doors to Samsung’s world of consumer electronics in Copenhagen Airport. We hope that the store will be a place where travellers stop by to relax and find inspiration, buy gifts for their families back home, and to get tips and tricks for the Samsung products they already own,” says Claus Holm, Country Manager for Samsung in Denmark.

Copenhagen Airport shares this aim of offering passengers shopping experiences that go beyond everyday expectations: “Samsung’s universe is unique and exclusive, with highly relevant products for the many travellers who are passionate about the latest gadgets and who want to be inspired when they are on the go. And the pop-up concept is a perfect match for the airport’s ambition of always offering travellers a little more than they expect,” says Sales and Market Director Carsten Norland.
