OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2013. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 446 “Concerning the development of the republican unitary industrial enterprise Granit”.

In line with the document, before 31 December 2017 the plant will implement an investment project to build a mining and refinery complex at the Sitnitskoye deposit.

The project envisages the construction of a mining and refinery complex with the capacity of 9 million tonnes of granite macadam per year and a mine at the Sitnitskoye construction stone deposit.

There are also plans to erect environmental facilities.
