OREANDA-NEWS. October 07, 2013. Attraction of investments in Ukrainian economy is one of the components of state modernization. It was stated by the President in the course of the opening of the International Investment Forum in Kirovohrad.

“Maximum facilitation of investment activity and attraction of investments in Ukrainian economy are one of the cornerstones of Ukrainian modernization strategy held since 2010,” the President noted.

According to him, much has been done in order to simplify procedures for investors, comprehensively inform about investment opportunities and create an environment favorable for investments. “The best proof of the success of the given policy is the fact that we have managed to break the trend of investment downturn and increase capital investment by one third in three post-crisis years,” Viktor Yanukovych said.

According to him, the given Forum is a bright example of practical implementation of the Program of Economic Reforms in the context of improvement of investment attractiveness of regions and intensification of investment activity.
