OREANDA-NEWS. October 04, 2013. Dmitry Patrushev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank, paid a working visit to the Tula region and held a meeting with Tula Governor Vladimir Gruzdev.

The parties discussed issues of mutual cooperation aimed to promote comprehensive development of the region, including financing of seasonal field works, modernization of agribusiness infrastructure and realization of new investment projects.

Russian Agricultural Bank has invested RUB 57.8 billion in the regional economy since 2000 with 84% of the funds allocated to agribusiness.

In the framework of the meeting parties signed a bilateral Cooperation Agreement on implementation of the State Program on Agribusiness Development and Market Regulation for Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Foodstuffs 2013-2020.

“The Agreement is aimed to establish a long-term cooperation in an effort to secure sustained and effective development of agribusiness in the region. The Bank considers it important that its loans, together with federal and regional subsidies are allocated to agribusiness modernization, creation of new jobs and improvement of living standards of the rural population”, Dmitry Patrushev noted.
