OREANDA-NEWS. October 03, 2013. WISCO succeeded in the first trial production of the high grade cable steel DL1T, which became a new member of the cable wire-coil family of WISCO. 

Cable steel DH1T is mainly used for shielding cables. After pulling, annealing, wiredrawing and coppering, the coppered steel wire with a diameter of0.1mmis produced. The steel wire is required to be electric conductive, and what is more important is that the finished product can recover its elasticity after being knotted. To meet these requirements, the cable wire-coil must be pure, homogeneous and easily drawn.

The team for this project made a detailed plan for the trial production based on adequate market research, technical and quality analysis, technology feasibility study and so on. All the parameters in the first trial production of cable steel DH1T can meet the client’s technical requirements, i.e., 100% of the original products and 97.65% of the final products are qualified.

At present, this batch of wire-coil has been applied successfully, and met all the technical standards of the clients. The successful trial production of the high grade cable steel will further optimize the product mix of wire-coil of WISCO, solidify the leading position of WISCO cable steel on the market, and improve the profitability of wire-coil of WISCO.
