OREANDA-NEWS. In Zarubezhneft JSC and VNIIneft the IV International science symposium "Enhanced Oil recovery - theory and practice" took place. Organizers of the event: Zarubezhneft JSC, CDC Rosnedra, Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, VNIIneft JSC, RMNTK Nefteotdacha JSC, Giprovostokneft JSC, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Russian Federation.

The purpose of the IV International science symposium is the analysis of present-day achievements in science and engineering in the field of enhanced oil recovery and improvement of management of the projects and resources in oil production. Science symposium "Enhanced Oil recovery - theory and practice" is being held with the assistance of the wide range of specialists who are directly involved with problems of enhanced oil recovery in science departments of oil companies and institutes and oilfield workers who are implementing in practice the technologies and methods of enhanced oil recovery. Experts from oil-producing CIS countries are also invited.
