UTair Launches Charter Operations to China
OREANDA-NEWS. UTair Aviation launched a charter flight program linking Surgut and Tyumen to Hainan Island resorts in China.
Flights on the route Surgut - Sanya and Tyumen - Sanya are operated weekly on Saturdays on long-haul wide-body Boeing 767-200 aircrafts able to accommodate 170 passengers - 145 and 25 seats in economy and business class respectively.
The wide Boeing 767-200 passenger cabin of4.7 m and increased legroom offer passengers additional comfort during the flight. Travel time to Sanya from Surgut is 7 hours and 45 minutes and from Tyumen - 7 hours and 25 minutes. The customer of the new UTair charter flight program is travel operator Southern Cross. In 2014, UTair and Southern Cross are planning to expand cooperation and enhance travel network on this route.
UTair Aviation ranks among the top three Russian airlines. In 2012 UTair aircraft transported 8,582,681 passengers. The airline operates more than 200 fixed wing aircraft and performs flights to 110 destinations. The airline maintains its central hub at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, from which it performs 100 flights daily.
