Moldova, Romania Stand for Expansion of Cooperation
OREANDA-NEWS. October 02, 2013. This was discussed during the meeting in Bucharest by the Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta with the Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Igor Corman, where the parties stressed a high rate of political dialogue between both states within the framework of the Strategic Partnership for European integration of Moldova.
Victor Ponta said that two meetings with the Prime Minister of Moldova Yurie Leanca within the last three months have created good agenda of the specific projects in such areas as: energy, education, health, transportation and infrastructure, which shall be actively promoted in future.
The Prime Minister of Romania emphasized that the launch of the construction of the gas pipeline Iasi - Ungheni and an agreement to return broadcasting of the first Romanian TV channel TVR are a good example of openness and pragmatism which shows as the governments of both two countries resolve issues of bilateral cooperation.
Victor Ponta stressed that Romania fully support Moldova's efforts on the path of European integration and the achievements reached on the way of signing the Association Agreement and creation of a free trade zone with EU till late 2014.
