OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2013. The Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) Igor Artemiev had a meeting with the Principal of Kutafin Moscow State University of Law, Viktor Blazheev.

The meeting focused on the issues of implementing the antimonopoly policy in the modern conditions, training and advancing qualification of the personnel of antimonopoly bodies and the prospects of using research findings in FAS enforcement practice.

The parties highly praised the fact of establishing the Competition Law Department at Moscow State University of Law to teach students of law the basics of the antimonopoly law and form a culture of respecting competition-protection norms among the students.

Summing up the meeting, the Federal Antimonopoly Service and Kutafin Moscow State University of Law signed an Agreement on Cooperation, under which the parties shall be engaged in cooperation aimed at developing academic and result-oriented knowledhe in the field of competition protection.

“The Antimonopoly Service continues its practice of cooperation with the leading educational institutions specializing in law. Such cooperation will enable to raise the quality of antimonopoly policy in Russia”, commented the Head of FAS Legal Department Sergey Puzyrevsky.
