OREANDA-NEWS. General Director of OJSC Enel OGK-5 Enrico Viale and the President and Chairman of the Management Board of Rosneft Oil Company Igor Sechin signed a 12-year gas supply contract.

In accordance with the signed agreement, Rosneft Oil Company will supply Enel OGK-5 with gas for a significant part of the company's needs of up to 2025. The agreement is one of the largest deals in the history of OJSC Enel OGK-5 and represents clear evidence of the long-standing commitment of the Enel Group and Enel OGK-5 to get committed to the Russian market.

The signed agreement is expected tol enter into force shortly upon final approval by the relevant bodies of the two companies.
