OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2013. Problematic issues that arise in relations between Ukraine and the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia should be solved solely in accordance with WTO rules. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this to reporters in Astana.

"WTO rules that guide Ukraine and Russia provide enough opportunities in order to regulate possible re-export, and many other issues raised by Russian side," Mykola Azarov said.

Prime Minister stressed that Ukraine recognizes the right of partners from the CIS and Customs Union to consider the possible risks associated with the conclusion of the FTA between Ukraine and the EU: "We are ready to consider such risks together. We should already turn from common phrases to a specific consideration of possible risks, to study their size and scope and, consequently, possible consequences." Thus Mykola Azarov stressed that if there is goodwill and the mutual wish, we can resolve any complex issues of bilateral cooperation.
