OREANDA-NEWS. The Airline recorded increased net profit.

From January to August 2013, "Vladivostok Air" performed 7,730 flights using its own fleet of aircraft, which is 12% more than in 2012. Operating passenger traffic made 1 billion 923 million passenger-kilometers. During the reporting period, a total of 819 thousand passengers were carried, of which 619 thousand people — at domestic, while 200 thousand — on international routes. The volume of traffic growth compared to last year is 2%. 5,642 tons of cargo and mail were carried.

In the first eight months of this year, availability of scheduled service made 92.5%, which is 6.2% higher than the same period of the last year.

Also, during the reporting period, flying rate of Tu-204-300 aircraft of "Vladivostok Air" increased by 10%, while the same for Airbus A320 aircraft — by 14%.

Financials of the Airline were summarized too, bringing net profit of Vladivostok Air to RUR 222 million beginning January through July, 2013.
