OREANDA-NEWS. Rusatom Overseas presented prospective cooperation projects at VIII Russia-Singapore Business Forum (RSBF), Singapore, 23 - 26 September. Vice-President of Rusatom Overseas Milko Kovachev in his speech at RSBF noted the importance of nuclear energy as a cost-effective and environmentally friendly source of energy for the Asia-Pacific region. This includes production of modern equipment for radionuclide diagnostics and radiation therapy, supply of isotope production and radiopharmaceuticals, production of equipment for processing solid waste and wastewater treatment. Another promising domain is sterilization and treatment of agricultural products", Mr. Kovachev noted.
