OREANDA-NEWS. Installation is the LNPP-2 units is being performed by the MSU-90 constructive workers.

Constructive workers of the TITAN-2 holding are installing the capacitor unit at the 2nd energy block of the LNPP-2. The process involves the workers from the 3rd and the 5th bays of the MSU-90.

Up to now, more than 500 tons of equipment have been installed and a quarter of the whole scope of operations has been carried out. Handling is highly accurate, as structures are heavy and bulky. More than 60 constructive workers are busy with the installation.

TITAN-2 holding is the largest group of companies in the Russian North-West involved in the construction of the most powerful nuclear and energetic facilities. It offers full cycle of building operations, from the developing of the design documents to commissioning. The holding comprises of almost 15 organizations and 4.000 experts and has more than 45 years of experience in the construction of exclusive and challenging projects. The TITAN-2 is a managing company and the main engineering business unit of the holding.

The TITAN-2 is one of the main contractors for energetic blocks No. 1 and 2 being constructed at the Leningrad NPP-2. The company is performing up to 30% of the general construction and up to 80% of all the installations. Holding specialists work at sites of the first and the second energy block of the Leningrad NPP-2. Works are being conducted in the facilities for the reactor, turbine, power and water distribution, heating and other buildings, with quite a long preparation period.
