Belarus Cuts Alcohol Output Quotas for 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. The Belarusian government has adjusted alcohol output quotas for 2013 by resolution #815 of the Council of Ministers.
The annual output quota for vodka and other hard drinks has been decreased by 1.2% to 19.404 million decaliters.
The output quota for ethyl alcohol output has been reduced by 0.1% to 12.614 million decaliters; fruit wines - down 3% to 15.503 million decaliters.
The natural fruit-and-berry wine output quota has been set at 330,000 decaliters, up 12.6%; “champagne” and other sparkling wines output quota has been raised 3.3% to 1.895 million decaliters.
The output quota for cognac [a type of brandy] has gone up 13.4% to 462,500 decaliters, whiskey - up 8.5% to 128,000 decaliters; rum - up 50% to 15,000 dal, tequila - up 60% to 8,000 dal.
The Calvados output quota has reduced twofold to 5,000 dal;
The output quota for ethyl alcohol produced from food raw materials is down by 0.1% to 12.614 million dal.
The non-food alcohol output quota is up by 30% to 1.3 million dal. The output quota for antiseptic pharmaceuticals categorized as non-food alcohol-containing products will reach 123,000 decaliters, up 7.9%.
Other quotas have remained unchanged.
