OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2013. During the week of 9 to 15 September 2013, 4 m tonnes of coal were delivered to customers from the Kuzbass region of West-Siberian Railways. This figure is 6.9% more than the same week last year. On average, 8,133 coal wagons were dispatched every day from stations in the Kuzbass.

In the Kuzbass region of West-Siberian Railways the total loading volume including other types of freight during the same week increased by 5.1% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 4.5 m tons. An average of 9,568 wagons carrying the output of companies in the region left the Kuzbass every day.

In January-August 2013, the total loading volume in the Kuzbass was 129.1 m tons of coal, up 2.1% over the same period last year.

These positive results in the Kuzbass region of West-Siberian Railways was achieved as a result of improved technology and the well-coordinated cooperation of all participants in the overall transport process.
