OREANDA-NEWS. Since April 2010 Northern Capital Gateway LLC - the Operator of Pulkovo Airport has been implementing the Project on Reconstruction and Development of St. Petersburg Airport. As part of the Project Phase 1 the Operator has built a number of facilities, including: the Main Building of the New Central Passenger Terminal and the North Pier.

Currently, Pulkovo Airport starts testing the New Terminal Building. 5200 volunteers will be involved in these trials. The volunteers will play the role of the trial passengers and will simulate the airport standard operation. This kind of trials will allow rehearsing the work of all operating divisions of the Airport involved in the ground operations.

Each participant of the trials will receive souvenirs and gifts, free meals and transfer from the Metro Station “Moscovskaya” to the Terminal and back.
