OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2013. IBA Group hosted an event in London, Great Britain, to celebrate its 20th anniversary and the recent opening of IBA UK, the company’s office in Great Britain.

Held in the Wellington Arch at the Hyde Park Corner, the celebration became a venue for current and prospective customers of IBA Group, members of the National Outsourcing Association, journalists, analysts, and representatives of IBA Group.

The program of the event included presentations by Sergei Levteev, IBA Group Chairman; and Martyn Hart, Chairman of the National Outsourcing Association; a private tour of the Wellington Arch; and a lot of networking. Mr. Levteev highlighted the milestones in the history of IBA Group and outlined the company’s vision for the future, while Mr. Hart spoke of the past and future of IT outsourcing.

The main attraction of the evening was a contest of journalists and analysts to predict the ITO trends in next 20 years. Mark Kobayashi-Hillary, blogger and journalist, acted as the MC of the contest. He suggested the audience to select the contestant, whose predictions were the most compelling and believable.

The participants of the contest were Colin Beveridge of Better Practice Ltd., Hart of NOA, and John Garratt, Editor of IT Europa. Derek Parlour, Head of Commercial at National Rail Enquiries, expressed the desire to become a contestant right at the competition and was invited to the rostrum. Surprisingly, he received the majority of the votes and became the winner.
