OREANDA-NEWS. September 23, 2013. Mr. Han Gensheng, the Vice President of Sinochem Group, and Mr. Wang Hongjun, the Assistant President of Sinochem Group and General Manager of Sinochem Agro Co., Ltd. (“Sinochem Agro” for short), met with the delegation led by Ms. Nemesia Achacollo Tola, the Minister of the Ministry of Rural Development and Land of Bolivia, and Mr. Guillermo Chalup Liendo, Bolivia’s Ambassador to China. Mr. Han introduced the business performance of Sinochem Group to the guests before both parties conducted an in-depth communication on such wide-range of topics as the fields for future cooperation.

The next day, after signing a Letter of Intent, Sinochem Agro and the Ministry of Rural Development and Land of Bolivia continued to deepen their communication through a meeting, at which officials from International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of China were present, too. During the meeting, Sinochem Agro proposed five kinds of highly specific and feasible collaboration modes, including the provision of agricultural inputs, the establishment of pesticide preparation factory, the founding of agricultural technology demonstration center, the introduction of ecological breeding and bio-organic fertilizer projects, and the trade cooperation via “import buyer credit” financing vehicle extended by the Export-Import Bank of China, drawing great resonance from the visiting delegates.

Mr. Wang also came up with many valuable and specific suggestions in order to accelerate the follow-up work of both sides. Wang expressed his confidence in the bright cooperative prospects of both sides and wished to see the ripe fruits of mutual cooperation soon. Ms. Tola expressed that a special work team would be set up in Bolivia to carry out the five kinds of collaboration modes proposed by Sinochem Agro, so as to promote the provision of agricultural inputs to the end farmers in Bolivia. In the end, Ms. Tola stated that she would deliver her cordial welcome to the delegation dispatched by Sinochem Agro to Bolivia for a fruitful visit in the future, thus further promoting mutual cooperation in a better and quicker way.
