OREANDA-NEWS. September 23, 2013. Kommersant newspaper has published its rankings of Russian banks, putting Sviaz-Bank in 24th place.

The paper allocated its rankings on the basis of the basic services the banks offered to individuals and the banks’ equity capital, among other key factors.

According to the paper’s rankings, the Bank had 21.2 billion rubles in equity at midpoint of this year, 38.9 billion rubles out on loan to individuals, and 23.3 billion rubles accepted in deposit from individuals.

These figures were obtained by the original technique used by Interfax – Center for Economic Analysis, and may differ from the Bank’s official figures arrived at by the technique used by the Bank of Russia.
