OREANDA-NEWS. The Arrival area will be closed to private traffic as of October 21st, 2013 owing to construction work.

Departure

In the Departures area a barrier system will be installed on the outer curbside lane for private vehicles since August 2013. In the specially designated drop-off zones, people will be able to drop off passengers free of charge for the first five minutes (previously CHF 2 for max. 10 minutes). After 5 minutes a fee of CHF 1.00 each extra minute will be charged. For longer stays, e.g. accompanying passengers to the terminals, we recommend using the car parks P1-3.

Arrival

In the Arrival area, a limited number of parking spaces will remain available until October 2013 for people collecting passengers (subject to a fee). People may park here for CHF 2 per 10 minutes up to a maximum of 20 minutes. When approaching the airport, please check the signs “frei” (spaces available) and “besetzt” (full) and use a car park if necessary. As a rule we recommend that people collecting passengers use the car parks P1-3.
