Ingosstrakh Appointed Head of Space and Aviation Risks Insurance
OREANDA-NEWS. Vadim Valeriyevich Semenkov has been appointed the head of the Department of Space and Aviation Risks Insurance of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. In the new position, he will be in charge of the tasks related to the enhancement of insurance products that serve the interests of aerospace industry and facilitate further expansion of the company's market share.
Vadim Valeriyevich was born in 1968 in Moscow. In 1993 he graduated from International Law Department of Moscow State Institute of Foreign Affairs. In 2012 he obtained a Master's Degree in Economics from Moscow school of economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Vadim Semenkov has been working in the field of insurance for over 17 years. From 1996 to 2006, he held various positions in the Department of Vessel Insurance and Vessel Owners Liability Insurance in Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. In 2008 he became the head of Special Risks Insurance in the Losses Settlement Department and was in charge of the settlement of losses related to the vessels and cargo insurance and insurance of liability of vessel owners, transportation operators, as well as aviation and space risks. In September 2013, he was appointed the head of the Department of Space and Aviation Risks Insurance of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. Mr. Semenkov is an active member of international insurance alliances and associations. Vadim Valeriyevich has extensive experience in losses settlement in marine, aircraft and space insurance. He was actively involved in the settlement of hundreds of insurance events. V. Semenkov has expert knowledge in the sphere of special risks insurance, thorough understanding of the specifics and characteristic properties of the above mentioned segments of the insurance market, is knowledgeable about the international best practices and the most recent advances in the sphere of airspace and marine insurance.
